Shan’s Blog: Great Wolf Lodge
Someone with a Blogger blog has posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls and Great Wolf Lodge:
Last night, we spent a night away from home. We are on vacation this week and for our vacation, we wanted to go away, for at least one night.
Our decision? Great Wolf Lodge! This little magical place was the perfect solution to our need to get away, but for cheap, and for only an overnight (dog kennels cost a fortune these days!).

Niagara Falls ~ A View of Clifton Hill
Someone with a WordPress blog has posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls (along with pictures):
Welcome to Clifton Hill ~ the cash cow of Niagara Falls. Come on out and play… oh and before I forget? Bring your wallet because you’ll be needing it!
It’s chaos there. The constant sounds and colours assault your senses for hours on end as the place doesn’t truly shut down until the wee hours of the morning. Every attraction be it bowling, a museum, a restaurant, or a shop has a gimmick to catch your attention. There are moving figures, talking animals, speakerphones with singing, lights flashing or spinning, bold and zany colours and murals all vying for your eyes and ultimately, your money. If anyone in your company has sensory issues, like my son does, you really need to break the shopping into manageable pieces. Mathew is autistic, mildly so, but the sheer magnitude of everything put him into overload very fast. We made several visits to Clifton Hill and that made it much more enjoyable and easy to handle.

Niagara Falls – Bring lots of money
Someone with a WordPress blog has posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls:
“Bring lots of money”, that was my brother’s advice when I told him where we were going for our vacation. Turns out he knew what he was talking about. Despite finding clean, affordable accommodations within easy walking distance of the Falls, the biggest expense and surprise since arriving here is how much it costs to eat here. Thank goodness that breakfast is provided by the hotel. We have gone to a variety of places for lunch and dinner and with a few exceptions, the cost has been $25-$35 per adult. It’s a little cheaper for kids but not that much. There are lots of families for multiple kids in tow, I don’t know quite how they manage. Don’t get me wrong, service has been great, the food good but not outstanding.

Jon and Lily: Niagara Falls
Someone with a Blogger blog has posted lots of picture and details about a recent trip to Niagara Falls:
Hello from Niagara Falls!
Jon and I slept in today till 11am. That was much needed. We walked to Niagara Falls. There were 2 falls: one was the Canadian “horseshoe” falls and the other was the American one “Bridal Veil” falls. We went on Maid of the Mist and Journey behind the Falls. Maid of the Mist was very nice. The boat went near the falls so we got a very good view of the horseshoe. The Journey behind the falls sounded better than it actually was. We went down 38m into a tunnel where we saw the falls rushing down. However, you really couldn’t see much. There was an observational deck which allowed us to see the side of the falls. That was nice but it was a disappointment. We walked to the top of the falls and saw where the water rushed down. That was very cool!

Nomad By Nature: A New Adventure
Someone with a Blogger blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls (including a few pictures):
This summer of 2010 I get to celebrate new beginnings. For the next six weeks I’m in the GTA (Toronto Area) having adventures and spending time with some of my oldest and dearest friends. Amna & Ali’s wedding will be at the end of the month and until I head back home on August 4th, I’ll be putting up pictures and documenting some of my adventures as a tourist here in Southern Ontario.
