In Niagara, the falls aren’t the only way to play in the water
From the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
Tere’s more than one way to get wet in Niagara Falls:
• Hop on a Maid of the Mist boat tour and hang out at the base of Horseshoe Falls, letting the spray surround you.
• Take a Cave of the Winds tour, carefully navigating the steps next to the American Falls, where the free poncho is no match for the constant downpour.
• Spend all day at Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, swimming, sliding and otherwise slighting the natural attraction just two blocks away.
I’m not really advocating that last option, but my kids might.

Exploring America’s Niagara Falls
From CANOE Travel:
I admit, it’s been a long time since I’ve explored this sister city to Niagara Falls, Ont. And what I found was this American city is no slouch when it comes to thing to do. Best of all, it’s close, and you can convince yourself you’ve travelled hundreds of kilometres for a day of adventure. You’ll still have an undeniable away-from-it-all feel.

Visiting Canada’s tallest hotel tower
From Canoe Travel:
As my boyfriend Mauricio and I drove along highway 420 to Niagara Falls, Ont., I could see it in the distance: Canada’s tallest hotel tower, rising 500 metres above the ground and now open at the Hilton Hotel & Suites Niagara Falls Fallsview.
It’s impossible to miss the 53-storey tower as you head into the city. The only thing rising higher than the tower is the mist from the Horseshoe Falls and American Falls, the latter of which mesmerized me from our 32nd floor hotel room window. Though I’ve made several visits to Niagara Falls, the natural wonder always awes me.
