This painting, based on a drawing Church made at Niagara in July 1856 and on a sepia photograph touched with colour, was commissioned by the New York art dealer Michael Knoedler in 1866.13Mar/10Off

- As people arrive at the IMAX Theatre, small Canada flags are handed out. Later they are going to take a picture of us all waving the flags. #
- My son and I just had our picture taken with Jon Montgomery at the IMAX Theatre in Niagara Falls. He also signed a small flag and a ticket #
- I heard Jon speaking with a reporter from Niagara This Week. He said the new movie is "epic" and he's seen it twice today. #
